Water Component

The WaterComponent is used to add a PlaneMesh to an entity that represents water.

The Water Surface component represents an animated water surface that can be fully customized to suit the needs of your immersive world. This feature allows creators to add realistic water elements, enhancing the atmosphere and visual appeal of their scenes.

Parameters for Water Surface

The Water Surface component offers several adjustable parameters to create a realistic and engaging water effect:

  • Size: Controls the dimensions of the water surface in the scene (width and height).
  • Speed: Adjusts the animation speed of the water, determining how fast the waves move.
  • Wave Strength: Defines the intensity and height of the water waves.
  • Color: Allows customization of the water’s appearance through a color picker, enabling creators to match the water to their scene’s aesthetic.
  • Distortion Strength: Controls the distortion effect on the water’s surface, adding a ripple-like appearance.

Adding and Using the Water Surface Component

Follow these steps to add and customize the Water Surface component in your scene:

  1. Access the Inventory: Open the Inventory panel from the interface.
  2. Select the Water Surface Component: Navigate to the Smart Elements section and choose the Water Surfaceoption.
  3. Place the Component: Drag and drop the Water Surface into your scene. Use the Transform tools to adjust its position and scale as needed.
  4. Customize Parameters:
    • Adjust the Size to fit your desired area.
    • Set the Speed to control wave motion.
    • Modify the Wave Strength for the desired wave effect.
    • Choose a Color that matches your scene’s theme.
    • Tweak the Distortion Strength to refine the ripple effects.
