anitya is excited to announce a strategic collaboration with Lenovo, a global leader in intelligent technology. This venture is set to explore and revolutionise the fields of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR), providing professionals with powerful tools to create immersive experiences. Together, we are committed to developing, marketing, and distributing innovative solutions that will bridge the digital and physical worlds in the corporate sector.
Our cutting-edge technology, built on the Godot Engine, facilitates the creation of lightweight applications that can be rendered directly in browsers or on any VR device, ensuring seamless interoperability. The low-code platform simplifies the development process, reducing costs and time, and allowing anyone to build immersive experiences without needing specialised developers.
Fully compatible with Lenovo’s new ThinkReality VRX, the software enhances the capabilities of this VR headset designed for business and professional use. This device offers immersive experiences for training, simulations, remote collaboration, design, and other business applications. It is ideal for prolonged VR sessions, providing the capability to manipulate virtual objects in high-risk simulated environments for maintenance and technical skills training.
The Lenovo ThinkReality VRX features two high-resolution colour cameras, delivering a unique experience by combining AR and VR technologies. This allows for mixed reality applications to overlay 3D graphics onto real-world images using a single VR device. "Aligned with our commitment to driving productivity and creativity in the business environment, we believe that our partnership with anitya will enable us to offer even more technological innovation to companies of all sizes, helping them transform their operations with cutting-edge Virtual and Augmented Reality solutions," says Hildebrando Lima, Director of R&D at Lenovo.
“Anitya’s technology enables the easy creation of training applications, allowing workers to navigate difficult or dangerous processes, such as learning to operate and regulate machines. In the educational sector, it facilitates the creation of immersive classroom learning experiences, such as understanding the different parts of the heart and how they function together. In architecture and real estate, our solution allows for the integration of 3D models, presenting work through digital tours," explains Pedro Jardim, CEO of anitya.
The establishment of this collaboration was significantly supported by Indicator Capital, an early-stage venture capital manager specialising in deep tech and an investor in anitya. Through their Building Value Together programme, ongoing since December 2023, Indicator facilitated the connection between our teams and provided valuable expertise to maximise the partnership's opportunities in terms of know-how and technology integration.
Derek Bittar, co-founder of Indicator, shares, "It is immensely satisfying to witness the realisation of the partnership between Lenovo and anitya. Our work aims to create synergy between our stakeholders and the startups we invest in, beyond just financial returns. This partnership marks the pinnacle of our Building Value Together programme."
This collaboration is the first one in a set of various agreements between anitya and different OEMs. More info on how we plan to facilitate content creation, shorten loading times and prolong the batteries cycles together with some tech giants coming soon!
